World Trade Center Moscow has released a second edition, revised and enlarged, of the manual “What Every International Investor Must Know about Technical Regulations of the Customs Union (Eurasian Economic Union)” and the glossary “Conformance Evaluation: Terminology, Acronyms.”

The books are intended for international suppliers and investors interested in entering the market of the Customs Union (EEU) Member States. The new publications were translated into English and Chinese.

The updated manual includes full information on the applicable regulations and their requirements, references to necessary websites of regulators, examples of lists of documents required for the conformance confirmation (evaluation) procedure, and approximate costs and durations of procedures. The book also covers specific features and practical matters of the application of a few most “popular” technical regulations of the Customs Union, and gives recommendations to international companies how to prepare documentation for the conformance evaluation procedure to ensure compliance with the Union’s technical regulations. Moreover, it takes into account provisions of the Treaty on the Eurasian Economic Union and the rules of a series of technical regulations of the Customs Union adopted after 2012.

The glossary includes standardized international terminology in the area of conformance evaluation. All the terms have source references and translation equivalents are given in Russian, Chinese and English. The glossary will help conformance evaluation specialists become quickly versed in the terminology, will facilitate removal of barriers and improve mutual understanding between experts of different countries.
