WTC Moscow hosted Third All-Russian Civil Forum

MOSCOW, RUSSIA - Committee of Civil Initiatives brought together experts, politicians and economists in the World Trade Center Moscow to take stock of the outgoing year in the life of Russian civil society.

According to ex-Finance Minister, Chairman of the Committee of Civil Initiatives Alexei Kudrin, this year the Forum was attended by 767 activists from 78 regions of Russia, as well as representatives of the authorities. In the presidium of the plenary session, in particular, sits governor of the Kirov region Nikita Belykh.

On the first day of the forum a plenary debate took place, as well as the work of 16 thematic areas, where were discussed the results of the experts, who have conducted analytical studies and developed their proposals during the year.

The second day was marked with the opening of «Made of civil society» exhibition, in which Russian NGOs hold discussions, master classes, seminars, business games, lectures and film screenings. At the end of each forum civil society, in fact, presents the country's development program for the next year.

The first Russian Civil Forum was held in Moscow on November 23, 2013. The initiative for the meeting in July 2013 made a number of prominent Russian public figures.
