A Chinese delegation visited WTC Moscow

Today, within the framework of their trip to Russia, a Chinese delegation from the Heilongjiang province, which borders on Russia’s Zabaykalsky Krai, visited the World Trade Center Moscow. Roman Gubenko, Director of the International Cooperation and Trade Promotion Department, WTC, held a meeting with the Chinese colleagues. The discussion focused on the Russian-Chinese trade relations. In particular, Mr. Gubenko introduced the guests to the activities of the World Trade Center, presented the opportunities that WTCs across Russia can make available for Chinese businesses, and spoke about the trade preferences that Russia and countries of the Eurasian Economic Union provide to China.

“The chain of world trade centers existing in Russia is prepared to promote bilateral trade relations,” Gubenko remarked.
During the meeting, and updated version of the project “Russia in International Trade” was presented: now detailed information on the structure and volume of Russia’s trade with China and other countries across the globe is available in Russian, English and Chinese.

The World Trade Center also announced a series of workshops on technical regulation. The cycle will be opened with a workshop on “Most important issues of technical regulation in the Eurasian Economic Union,” which evoked interest of the Chinese guests.
