WTC Mumbai welcomed a 9 Member companies Trade Mission from Taipei WTC ( TAITRA ) during November 27 – 28 , 2017 .
Taipei WTC Liaison Office at Mumbai and WTC Navi Mumbai jointly organised B2B Meetings for Taiwan delegates with their Indian business counterparts on November 27 at Taj Mahal Hotel Mumbai. Mr. Chien- Nan Kuo , CEO of Y u Tong Steel Company was the Leader of the Mission. Business interests of the Taiwan companies included interalia , steel , computers , sports and fitness equipments , polyester fibre , electrical tubes / fittings , agricultural machinery & storage systems . An interesting new patented product was SleepBank by Sandalphon International.
More than 100 B2B meetings took place on this occasion . Both Taiwanese Member companies and Indian companies had fruitful meetings and expressed satisfaction over this opportunity to exchange business interest. As many as 10 members and associates of WTC Navi Mumbai participated in this program and took advantage for business development.
On November 28 , the WTC Navi Mumbai , in cooperation with IMC Chamber Navi Mumbai , organised an Industry Visit program for the Taiwan Mission. Jayant Ghate Advisor WTC Navi Mumbai and R K Jain Chairman IMC Chamber Navi Mumbai welcomed the Mission and explained economic importance of Navi Mumbai and opportunities emerging at the interactive session organised at IMC Navi Mumbai. Taiwan companies representatives introduced their products and had useful interaction with the WTC and IMC members present.
Taiwan Mission was subsequently taken to the factories of Pradeep Metals – a leading manufacturer of fabrication products as well as Selec Controls – a manufacturer of electronic and electrical control instruments. Both these companies are leaders in their fields of operation , have quality certifications ( ISO ) as well as have excellent export business. Their senior executives showed the manufacturing operations and made presentations of their companies.
Taiwan Trade Mission Members and Taipei WTC Officials appreciated the efforts of WTC Navi Mumbai and IMC Chamber in organising the visit.
